On October 1, 2026, the State Information Commissioner, Dr. Lalzirmawia Chhangte, called on the Hon’ble Governor of Mizoram, General (Dr) Vijay Kumar Singh (Retd.), at Raj Bhavan. During the courtesy call, Dr. Chhangte exchanged views with the Hon’ble Governor on matters relating to the Right to Information and the functioning of the Mizoram Information Commission.
