The appellant sought information from the SPIO & Deputy Secretary, General Administration & Control Department, CADC regarding service books and bio-data of officers under CADC. However, he was denied on grounds of Section 8(1)(j) of the RTI Act, 2005.

The appellant submitted Second Appeal dt. 02.11.2022 to MIC against the SPIO & Deputy Secretary, General Administration & Control Department, CADC. 

Hearing was held on 14.11.2022 (Monday). The respondent was present and the appellant nor his authorized representative attended the hearing. The respondent the respondent informed the Commission that as per the order issued by the DAA/Executive Secretary, CADC, the appellant was provided information as permissible under the provisions of the RTI Act, 2005. He also submitted to the Commission copies of the reply furnished to the appellant viz Rustom Chakma. 

After hearing the respondent and since the appellant even after having received the summon for hearing is silent on the matter, the Commission hereby considers the case as closed.
