The appellant viz Pu Chanchinmawia, Champhai Vengthlang sought information from the SPIO & Sr. Executive Engineer (D&M), Power & Electricity Department on 05.11.2022. The said RTI application was not attended to by the concerned SPIO.

The SPIO informed the appellant, "a dealing branch ah information dil mek ani."

The appellant then preferred First Appeal to the DAA wherein no action was taken on the matter.

Feeling aggrieved with the decision of DAA, the appellant preferred Second Appeal to Mizoram Information Commission on 13.02.2023. 

Hearing was held on 06.03.2023 wherein the Commission directs the SPIO (Respondent), Power & Electricity Department to furnish the requested information, free of cost, to the appellant not later than 29.03.2023.
