The Right to Information (RTI) Week, 2022 was celebrated in all 11 (eleven) districts of Mizoram during 5th to 12th October 2022. The main Inaugural Function was held in the Conference Hall of Assembly Annexe in Aizawl on 6th October 2022 with the Hon'ble Governor, Mizoram gracing the function as Chief Guest.

The aim of the RTI Week Celebration is to evolve a strategy to do the advocacy and disseminate the message of transparency and accountability and to keep the citizenry informed by exchange of ideas and spread of information.

Mizoram Information Commission acknowledges that the event  could not have been possible without the close involvement and hard work of all public authorities, MJA, NGOs, leaders of village councils, college students, etc. and the main credit for the success of this RTI Week should go to all the participants for their positive, purposeful and enthusiastic participation in different events.
